Questo database contiene i registri e gli elenchi provenienti da navi, ospedali, centri di addestramento e altre strutture della Marina. Negli elenchi si trovano informazioni sulla disposizione delle spoglie dei deceduti.

This database contains registers and lists from Navy ships, hospitals, training centers, and other installations. The lists provide details on the disposition of remains of the dead. They typically contain at least the following details:

  • name
  • rank or rate
  • place and date of death

They may also list birth date, cause of death, whether a patient in hospital, name and address for next of kin, place and date of burial, nativity/birth place/where from, even date of funeral and who was notified about the death.

Not all of the people on these lists are Navy personnel. Family members or other civilians who were treated at Navy facilities might be included, as well as members of the United States Marine Corps. Though this collection is not comprehensive, it does include a broad range of facilities, from a Marine brigade field hospital in Tientsin, China, to a tuberculosis sanatorium in Colorado.
